Workshop Employment
May be available to those individuals who have completed a rehabilitation program (usually to complete primary contracts within the workshop). Additionally, a limited number of positions may be available to non-disabled individuals.
Work Services employment is provided to Vocational Rehabilitation clients who have completed a rehabilitation program, are 16 years old and are currently unemployable. This includes clients whose work adjustment time is complete but who are still in need of a structured environment because of the severity of their disability. The workshop operates as a non-competitive, work oriented rehabilitation facility with a controlled working environment and individual vocational goals. The disabled individual is able to work at his or her own pace and receive compensation accordingly. Counseling, placement, and follow-up services are also provided to those individuals obtaining employment from their association with the workshop.
